The Priests Advisory Board to the Respect Life Office is a group of priests in the Archdiocese of Chicago that works to spread the Gospel of Life, as proclaimed by John Paul II in Evangelium Vitae, through a variety of activities, including:
Supporting and providing guidance to the Archdiocesan Respect Life Office at monthly meetings:
Participating in and promoting pro-life activities and events, such as Masses for Life with Archbishop Blase Cupich, the annual Archdiocesan “Gospel of Life” Conference, prayer vigils, the March for Life, and other activities
Writing letters to the editor as a body of priests on current life issues
Reaching out to brother priests to promote the Gospel of Life through highlighting helpful resources, events and ministries
Participation in Project Rachel (not a prerequisite to be in the group).
This is a group of fellowship, support, and activism for priests who are passionate about the sanctity of human life from conception until natural death.
